First of all, I would like to thank you for fostering with The Maggie Society!  You truly are the bridge for these dogs to find their happily ever after!  Without you, we wouldn't be able to function!  So THANK YOU!

Getting your Foster "Officially" Posted

In order for a bio to be written, we need some basic information about your foster dog!
  1. Are they house trained?  Crate trained?  Leash trained?
  2. How do they do with other dogs (big or small)?  How are they with cats (if you know)?
  3. What are three really good things about your foster dog?
  4. What are three things that still need some work?
  5. What are three adjectives to describe your foster dog?  (Not cute, sweet, adorable... because duh... all of our dogs are that!)
  6. Give the dog a personality.  It helps me know the dog so that I can have a more accurate bio.
You are my link to get to know the dog.  You know them better than anyone else, so the better the info, the better the bio, the greater chance of finding the perfect home for your dog!

After a bio is written, we have to have pictures!  Here are some guidelines about pictures:
  1. I have to have clear pictures.
  2. It helps to have a few pictures up close and a few pictures that show off the entire dog.
  3. Pictures with vibrant backgrounds where your dog really stands out are the best for getting them noticed.  Green backgrounds are really good!
  4. I have to have at least 3 pictures in order to post.  The more you send me, the more I have to work with!
  5. If you have super wiggly puppies or very active dogs, I still need pictures, but sometimes a video will help!  We can post videos, too!

All of this information needs to be put on your Foster/Bio Thread on Facebook Messenger!
