Foster Application
Thank you for your interest in becoming a foster home for The Maggie Society. When you foster a dog, all veterinary care is provided and other supplies may be provided, including food upon request.
Foster homes can provide much-needed care for the very young, sick, or injured, socialization for the shy, and basic training for dogs that need it. You provide a safe, secure and loving home for the dog until its permanent family comes along. We ask that the foster home help meet the needs of training, taking to necessary veterinary visits and adopt-a-thons, etc. And perhaps most importantly, foster homes can provide invaluable information about a foster dog's temperament and training, making it easier to match the dog with an appropriate adoptive home.
All inquiries/applications on your foster dog should be forwarded to The Maggie Society for follow up and approval.
Adoption fees paid for any dog through The Maggie Society include vaccinations, spaying/neutering, heartworm treatment, etc.
Please email or call Laurie Robl Brumfield, President/Founder of The Maggie Society at 252-292-6305 with any questions or comments as you are filling out your application. Questions and comments can also be emailed to themaggiesociety01@gmail.com.
Forgive us if there is sometimes a delay in getting back to your inquiries. We are all volunteers doing our best to meet the demands of our own lives, families and jobs, in addition to helping these dogs. If you feel that your email or application has been overlooked, it is quite possible that email or server problems deleted it accidentally. Please try again!
